The piano-rock band from Sussex, U.K., used to draw frequent comparisons to Coldplay but Keane plays their version of moving, resonant canyon-pop with a little more shadowy bittersweetness than their contemporaries. Their last album, "Under the Iron Sea," crossed over the waters and made Tim Rice-Oxley one of the most popular rock 'n' roll hyphenates ever.
